Tijuana is located in the northwestern part of the Mexican Republic, and it borders with the city of San Diego, California. Thanks to its accelerated economic growth, it is located today as one of the most important parts of the country. It has an ideal climate, Mediterranean type year round with an average temperature of 21°C (70°F).
In the last years, the city of Tijuana has turned into a demographic phenomenon due to its better life opportunities achieved through the accelerated growth rhythm, and where the maquila (factory) industry and tourism have a predominant part. The current population is more than 3 million citizens.
