Academic Scholarships

A) Comprehensive Plan for Financial Aid

25% to 80% academic scholarship.
Overall average of 8.5 or more with 1,080* points on the admission exam.

B) Comprehensive Plan for Financial Aid for Engineering Programs

Scholarship of up to 40%.
For students with remarkable academic performance and interest in Engineering.
Overall average of 8.5 and 1,210* points on the admissions test.

Athletic Scholarships

Scholarships of 10% to 80% applicable for any undergraduate program.
Directed young outstanding athletes with academic credentials of excellence.
Physical and technical exams are required in the student’s sports discipline.

CETYS Alumni Tuition Discount

Automatic 10% discount on tuition for children of CETYS graduates.

CETYS Tuition Credit*

Available from 10% for Engineering programs and 12% for students of other undergraduate program.

All financial support and scholarships are approved and comply with the institutional policies of CETYS Universidad.
For some scholarships, it is necessary to undergo a socio-economic evaluation of need.

Out of State Tuition Discount

10% Discount to students who reside outside Mexicali or high school students residing in USA.

Sibling Discount

A discount of up to 15% for families with two or more children enrolled in CETYS Universidad.

SoCal Scholarship

A way to study an Undergraduate Program in CETYS Universidad – Tijuana campus. Have a GPA equal or above 2.7 (8.5 in Mexico) in 10th, 11th and 12th grade (submit official transcript).
The scholarship is of 80%, and it is destined for high schools students that are graduating in 2023 within the Southern California area. The scholarship can be combined with other Financial Aid options offered by CETYS Universidad, with due process, having in consideration that the maximum percentage of application is of 90% .
