On may 31st, CETYS University held its first International Partners Breakfast in Los Angeles, California, during  NAFSA 2017 Conference and Expo.

President Fernando León García and CETYS Faculty met with partners from 14 institutions in 11 countries across the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa, to talk about collaboration initiatives, projects and trends regarding internationalization.

“Today we had an excellent opportunity to catch up on some joint activities we have undertaken with many representatives from institutions around the globe. I think most importantly what prevailed was a sense of friendship and a joint effort to try to move forward on the international agenda and the global preparation of our students. It’s clear that we are moving from bilateral to multilateral partnerships”, said President León García.

“It was a fabulous event that allowed us to find further collaborations and opportunities to work together to expand our internationality”, said Dr. Edward Roekaert, President of Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas, with whom CETYS recently signed an agreement.

“The idea of bringing together both student mobility but also multilateral relationships that also link business and industry with international partners is a very powerful message and one that I personally believe in. That’s why we are very happy to be participating in this International Partners Breakfast” said Ashish Vaidya, President of St. Cloud University, Minnesota, US.

CETYS University continuously promotes strategic alliances around the world, that contribute to  high quality education and international collaboration.
