Mexico’s northwest region to become the innovation hub of higher education

On Monday, CETYS University System will become an international hub of higher education when more than 30 leaders from 14 countries take part in the «International Seminar on Innovation Higher Education «, as part of the university’s 55th Anniversary celebrations.

This marks the first time an event of this magnitude is held in the Mexican institution. Countries such as the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Sweden, Finland, Czech Republic, Austria, Spain, India, China, South Korea and Japan will be represented by presidents of leading universities and worldwide higher education organizations.

The two-day International Seminar consists of eight panels of experts who will discuss innovation in universities regarding: their mission; social responsibility; quality and accreditation; the role of students and universities; alternative educational models and technology; the impact of international and institutional partnerships; as well as leadership and governance in complex environments.
