CETYS University is set to collaborate with Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane (AUI), after signing an MOU which will provide new internationalization opportunities for students in both Mexico and Morroco, beginning with a summer session in 2017 in AUI which will then be replicated at CETYS.

Business and Engineering students will study topics such as South-North mobility, cross-cultural management, entrepreneurship, empowerment and leadership of women, comparative law and off shoring, among other issues concerning the current situation in both countries, establishing a visionary relationship between Baja California and Morocco.

The MOU was signed by Dr. Fernando Leon Garcia, President of CETYS University, along with his counterpart Dr. Driss Ouaouicha from AUI , in the presence of Juan Andres Ordonez, Ambassador of Mexico in Morocco.

AUI is a selective institution with more than 2,000 students that offers an American-style education in English. Currently, it is in the process of  its US accreditation, like CETYS University has achieved with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
