- At least 1160 points on the SAT Exam or the college board PAA.
- Complete CETYS Financial support application.
- Complete the University’s registration requirements.

Who is our candidate?
- High School Senior student or IVC transfer student committed to the Imperial Valley community.
- Imperial Valley resident
- U.S citizen or legal immigrant
- First-generation college student achieving Bachelor’s Degree *preferred.
- Financial aid eligible
How to apply if you are a candidate?

Application for Financial Support duly completed.

Submit high school transcripts for grades 10-12

Submit two essays, one in English and one in Spanish, about your history and life goals, answering the question, «Why do I want to study for a bachelor’s degree, and how do I intend to use it to impact my environment positively?“ (1500 words)

The student must attend a face-to-face interview with members of the selection committee

The students ‘parents or legal guardian must attend face-to-face interview with members of the selection committee

Have an average of 9.0 (3.1 GPA) or higher

Submit two letters of recommendation from two teachers

The student must comply with the interview and psychometric examination carried out by the CETYS University psychology team

Complete the registration and requirements by CETYS University

A one-page letter addressed to the Scholarship Committee explaining your interest in the scholarship and how having this support would help you.

Curriculum vitae of academic, cultural, sports, philanthropic, and social activities carried out during high school (attach photos of receipts).

Submit two letters by at least two people who know the applicant, explaining their relationship with the applicant and commenting on their personality and character
