Jugadores de CETYS Tijuana<\/strong> fueron galardonados durante la reciente Clausura y Apertura de Temporada<\/em> de la Liga de Beisbol Amateur de Tijuana (LBAT)<\/strong>, generando cuatro trofeos al palmar\u00e9s deportivo del campus.<\/p>\n

Alex Ahumada<\/strong> recibi\u00f3 el Premio al Mejor Lanzador<\/em> de la pasada campa\u00f1a, seguido por Marcos Almonte<\/strong> y Robert V\u00e1zquez<\/strong> (de\u00a0Piratas<\/em>) como Mejores Jonroneros<\/em>; Kahwing Long<\/strong> y Brandon Meza<\/strong> (de Red Sox<\/em>) fueron halagados como Novatos del A\u00f1o<\/em>. Finalmente, el equipo recibi\u00f3 el trofeo por el tercer lugar en Categor\u00eda Mayor<\/em>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u201cMe siento emocionado, es algo que no esperaba. \u00bfPero qui\u00e9n no lo ha so\u00f1ado? Los novatos queremos recibir reconocimientos como este. Me fue muy bien en la pasada temporada y lo veo reflejado en mis manos. Ahora tenemos otro buen equipo para contender y buscar el Campeonato\u201d<\/em>, declar\u00f3 Long<\/strong> al terminar la ceremonia.<\/p>\n

La nueva temporada, que ya empez\u00f3, tiene 11 equipos en competencia que incluye a los pupilos de Luis Alonso Mendoza<\/strong>. El presidente de la LBAT<\/strong>, Lorenzo Reyes<\/strong>, opin\u00f3 que la presencia de Zorros<\/strong> ha sido un acierto para el circuito en ambas categor\u00edas (Mayor y Juvenil<\/em>).<\/p>\n

\u201cCETYS<\/strong> es un equipo ya muy integrado en la Liga Amateur, mis hijos tambi\u00e9n han defendido la franela<\/em> \u2013asegur\u00f3 el dirigente-. Es una instituci\u00f3n que le ha dedicado mucho tiempo al deporte, no escatima en apoyar a sus beisbolistas con becas deportivas”.<\/em><\/p>\n

Y como es una costumbre, hay un homenajeado para toda la campa\u00f1a y se trata hoy de \u00d3scar Robles<\/strong>. El reci\u00e9n retirado pelotero y campe\u00f3n con Toros de Tijuana<\/strong> no estuvo presente en el protocolo, pero envi\u00f3 un mensaje telef\u00f3nico para agradecer el tributo.<\/p>\n

\u201cLes saludo desde M\u00e9rida, Yucat\u00e1n. Quiero pedir una disculpa por no haber podido acompa\u00f1arlos, pero estoy muy contento por este reconocimiento y por haberme tomado en cuenta. A todos los equipos participantes les deseo lo mejor, espero verlos muy pronto en los partidos\u201d<\/em>, prometi\u00f3 el ex tercera base.<\/p>\n

CETYS Tijuana<\/strong> venci\u00f3 a San Diego<\/strong> en la pasada jornada por 9-1 en Mayor<\/em>, superando tambi\u00e9n a Cardenales<\/strong> por 10-3 en Juvenil.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
