En 1990<\/strong>, CETYS Universidad abri\u00f3 sus puertas a la ya conocida\u00a0Mtra. Mar\u00eda Luis Walther Cuevas<\/strong>, quien lleva 26 a\u00f1os ininterrumpidos al frente de salones de clase tanto de Licenciatura como de Posgrado. Su primer rol en la instituci\u00f3n fue como profesora de asignatura a nivel Preparatoria durante la gesti\u00f3n de la\u00a0Mtra. Maria Eugenia Espino, directora de la escuela en ese entonces.<\/p>\n

Posteriormente se integr\u00f3 como Maestra de Planta a Educaci\u00f3n Superior en 1991; y el 2 de agosto del 2001 asumi\u00f3 la Direcci\u00f3n de la Escuela de Derecho<\/strong>, puesto que deja tras su jubilaci\u00f3n administrativa en 2013. Sin embargo, la docente decidi\u00f3 continuar ense\u00f1ando sobre lo que m\u00e1s sabe: las leyes.<\/p>\n

“Contin\u00fao dando clases porque pienso que es una oportunidad de formar buenos profesionistas con valores. Es un orgullo cuando uno ve hacia atr\u00e1s las generaciones que han pasado, creo que cada persona ha dejado algo importante en nosotros y espero yo haber dejado algo en ellos”, dijo.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

La Maestra Walther, cuenta con la Maestr\u00eda en Derecho Corporativo Internacional y especialidad en Recursos Humanos por el CETYS. Adem\u00e1s, tiene dos t\u00edtulos profesionales, uno en Filosof\u00eda y Letras por el Tecnol\u00f3gico de Monterrey; el otro en Derecho por la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Baja California (UABC).<\/p>\n

“En su momento y luego de varios a\u00f1os al frente de la Escuela de Derecho, propongo el proyecto de la Maestr\u00eda en Derecho Corporativo Internacional, esta se aprueba y formo parte de la primera generaci\u00f3n. Fue un grupo de 19 alumnos con abogados muy importantes de todo el Estado, aprend\u00ed much\u00edsimo de todos mis compa\u00f1eros ya que en el debate jur\u00eddico del aula uno enriquece su educaci\u00f3n. Fue sin duda, una experiencia muy interesante, ya que mis hijos fueron mis propios compa\u00f1eros; viniendo de una familia de abogados, no pod\u00eda alejarme de esta profesi\u00f3n que me atrap\u00f3”.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Para la Maestra Walther, el tiempo ha pasado para bien y ahora el programa que fund\u00f3 se actualiza a Maestr\u00eda en Derecho<\/strong>, la cual cuenta con dos concentraciones: \u00a0Corporativo Internacional, as\u00ed como Constitucional y Amparo. Sobre esto, la abogada comenta que la sociedad demanda estar al d\u00eda en todas las modificaciones que se siguen dando en la ley, “Pienso que es una oportunidad para los litigantes que se mantengan actuales ya que estamos en un campo laboral muy competitivo”.<\/p>\n

M\u00e1s de la Maestra Walther<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"walther\"Originaria de la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico, esta maestra tan querida por la comunidad estudiantil lleva 52 a\u00f1os de casada, matrimonio\u00a0con el que ha procreado 5 hijos y 17 nietos, de los cuales la gran mayor\u00eda ha estudiado alg\u00fan tipo de programa en el CETYS incluyendo su pareja.<\/p>\n

\n

“Mi otra pasi\u00f3n es mi familia, estoy casada con un gran abogado que es mi impulso y mi freno al mismo tiempo.\u00a0Soy apasionada de la educaci\u00f3n, por lo que atiendo algunos grupos fuera del CETYS a quienes formamos c\u00edvicamente. Me gusta leer mucho y viajar, este \u00faltimo lo hago para involucrarme en todas las culturas y entender como el Derecho se desarrolla en otros pa\u00edses. Eso si, no puedo dejar de hacer ejercicio diario para estar sanos”.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Sobre sus planes a futuro, Mar\u00eda Luisa coment\u00f3 que seguir\u00eda en la b\u00fasqueda de consolidar la Maestr\u00eda en Derecho y el programa de Licenciatura, sumando tambi\u00e9n, la propuesta de un proyecto de Doctorado en Derecho para CETYS<\/strong>. De igual forma continuar\u00e1 apoyando a las causas en las que ha estado comprometida toda su vida como el no a la corrupci\u00f3n y el si a la educaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

“Contin\u00fao en este camino ya que decid\u00ed que mientras pueda seguir aportando a la sociedad, lo voy hacer. Como dijo la Madre Teresa de Calcuta<\/strong>, ‘hasta que ya no pueda o lo haga con muletas’, por ello ni un solo d\u00eda he dejado de estar frente al grupo. Creo que es muy importante donde nos encontremos y que no nos cansemos de hacer el bien. Lo importante de la vida es poder contribuir a tener una mejor sociedad y pa\u00eds, cada quien con nuestros talentos trabajando cada d\u00eda”.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
