El evento realizado en Campus Tijuana, estuvo presidido por el Dr. Fernando Le&oacute;n Garc&iacute;a, Rector del Sistema CETYS; el Mtro. Sa&uacute;l Castro Verdugo, Director General del Instituto del Deporte y Cultura F&iacute;sica de Baja California; y la Mtra. Jessica Ibarra Ramonet, Directora de Campus Tijuana.Durante el evento, el Mtro. Castro Verdugo, en representaci&oacute;n del Gobierno del Estado, entreg&oacute; un reconocimiento al CETYS por el apoyo brindado al talento deportivo en Baja California. Destac&oacute; el apoyo que la universidad brinda a los j&oacute;venes deportistas, otorgando becas y apoyando su participaci&oacute;n en competencias regionales, nacionales y mundiales. Asimismo, reconoci&oacute; la importancia de que las instituciones educativas inculquen valores y fomenten el deporte, ya que esto asegura la formaci&oacute;n de buenos ciudadanos. Por su parte, Dr. Fernando Le&oacute;n reconoci&oacute; el gran esfuerzo realizado por el equipo. &quot;Lograron esta participaci&oacute;n nacional al coronarse previamente campeones municipales y estatales. Adem&aacute;s fue la primera ocasi&oacute;n en que el equipo institucional participa en la plataforma nacional, por lo que celebramos que hayan tenido grandiosos resultados&quot;, expres&oacute;.
