150 egresados y sus familiares se reunieron el 21 de mayo para celebrar a las madres, el sábado 21 de mayo en el Auditorio del Campus Mexicali. El evento denominado "Festejamos a Mamá", fue organizado por la Asociación de Profesionistas Egresados del CETYS (APEC) del campus anfitrión, encabezada por el C.P. Ernesto Femat Velázquez. El programa arrancó con la lectura de un poema de la escritora Norma Alicia Arreola, después se dio paso a la Rondalla del Valle coordinada por Luis Olivares Fong y Jorge Argote. Posteriormente, tuvo su participación el Grupo de Danza Jazz del CETYS llamado "Entre la C", acto seguido hizo su aparición el solista Alfredo Sánchez A.
