Álvarez, profesor del área de Posgrado, presentaron un panel sobre Emprendimiento e Innovación ante alumnos del área de Administración y Negocios (AyN). Llevada a cabo el 7 de noviembre dentro del Auditorio Gustavo Vildósola Castro, la plática fue transmitida simultáneamente en los campus hermanos y organizada gracias al apoyo del Colegio de AyN, así como el Centro en Competitividad Empresarial. . Almeida expuso el tema "Understanding the challenges of innovation and entrepeneurship", mientras que Álvarez habló sobre "Los retos del emprendimiento y la innovación este nuevo siglo".
