Este distinguido docente ingres&oacute; a CETYS Universidad, campus Tijuana en el a&ntilde;o de 1972, y entre sus m&aacute;s notables cargos destaca el haber dirigido la Escuela Preparatoria, adem&aacute;s de fungir como Director Acad&eacute;mico y&nbsp; Director de Psicolog&iacute;a y de la Escuela de Humanidades.Durante d&eacute;cadas, miles de alumnos tuvieron la oportunidad de recibir la experiencia y conocimientos del Maestro Cabrera, y seguramente, quienes lo conocieron conservan la imagen de un hombre con una vocaci&oacute;n genuina por la educaci&oacute;n. Como parte de su legado, Cabrera Tapia redact&oacute; su &uacute;ltima obra &quot;Ser-con y ser-para los dem&aacute;s: Una exigencia humana ineludible&quot;, texto compuesto de 317 p&aacute;ginas, pensadas en y para los alumnos de CETYS Universidad.
