El Ing. Enrique Carlos Blancas de la Cruz, Rector de la instituci\u00f3n, le dio la bienvenida y le agradeci\u00f3 el  esfuerzo desinteresado de apoyar a CETYS en el proceso de la acreditaci\u00f3n WASC con su experta presentaci\u00f3n. Los temas que el Dr. Chase abarc\u00f3 durante una platica a un grupo de directivos acad\u00e9micos  fueron: \u201cMedici\u00f3n del aprendizaje de los alumnos\u201d, \u201cC\u00f3mo convertirnos en una instituci\u00f3n centrada en el aprendizaje\u201d y \u201cEl Proyecto Ponderosa\u201d, el cual incluye en su libro publicado por MIT Press en el 2004 titulado \u201cSustainability on Campus: Stories and Strategies for Change\u201d.El Dr. Chase forma parte del Consejo de American Council for Academic Deans (ACAD), y el Consejo de Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).
