Jes\u00fas Alfonso Mar\u00edn Jim\u00e9nez 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Edith Celeste Monroy Yepis, estudiante de sexto semestre de la Licenciatura en Negocios Internacionales en CETYS Universidad Campus Mexicali, fue seleccionada como ganadora de la Beca de Excelencia Ing. Jes\u00fas Alfonso Mar\u00edn Jim\u00e9nez 2026, que cubrir\u00e1 el cien por ciento de su colegiatura en el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o de curso de su carrera.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Esta distinci\u00f3n, instaurada en honor al legado del Ing. Jes\u00fas Alfonso Mar\u00edn Jim\u00e9nez, quien fuera el tercer rector y una figura fundamental en el desarrollo de CETYS Universidad durante m\u00e1s de 28 a\u00f1os, reconoce anualmente a estudiantes de licenciatura que sobresalen por su excelencia acad\u00e9mica, liderazgo, participaci\u00f3n activa en actividades formativas y compromiso con su comunidad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tras el proceso de convocatoria y evaluaci\u00f3n, en 2026, Edith Celeste Monroy Yepis fue elegida por representar los valores de excelencia, esfuerzo y liderazgo que distinguen a este reconocimiento y que forman parte del legado del Ing. Mar\u00edn.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cMe interesa mucho cultivarme. Obtener este apoyo representa para mi terminar mi carrera sin un peso extra. La carga econ\u00f3mica representa una carga psicol\u00f3gica, pero con este impulso podr\u00eda terminar en paz mi carrera\u201d, expres\u00f3 la ganadora de la beca.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Este reconocimiento contribuye a que estudiantes destacados contin\u00faen fortaleciendo su formaci\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica y profesional. Tambi\u00e9n, representa una iniciativa que trasciende el reconocimiento acad\u00e9mico, al impulsar la trayectoria de estudiantes que reflejan los principios de integridad, liderazgo, servicio y excelencia que caracterizaron la vida y obra del Ing. Mar\u00edn Jim\u00e9nez.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Legado y trayectoria del Ing. Jes\u00fas Alfonso Mar\u00edn Jim\u00e9nez\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bajo el liderazgo de quien fuera director de Avance Institucional y docente, para convertirse en Rector del Centro de Ense\u00f1anza T\u00e9cnica y Superior, de 1978 a 1996, se llev\u00f3 a cabo el tercer esfuerzo de planeaci\u00f3n institucional en el periodo de 1981-1982, denominado como \u201cTercer Plan de Desarrollo Institucional\u201d, como parte de su enfoque en la planeaci\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En sus a\u00f1os en la rector\u00eda, el Ing. Mar\u00edn Jimenez extendi\u00f3 los alcances de la Instituci\u00f3n a nivel nacional e internacional, as\u00ed como su crecimiento en infraestructura. En 1980 fueron inaugurados los edificios administrativos, aulas, oficinas administrativas y biblioteca y en 1990, se establecieron lazos y convenios de colaboraci\u00f3n con instituciones como Hewlett Packard, National Cash Register, Arizona State University y Kenworth Mexicana.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bajo su gesti\u00f3n, CETYS recibi\u00f3\u00a0 \u201cEl Car\u00e1cter de Instituci\u00f3n con Alto Nivel de Calidad<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Acad\u00e9mica\u201d por parte del licenciado Miguel Gonz\u00e1lez Avelar, entonces Secretario de Educaci\u00f3n P\u00fablica de M\u00e9xico, posicionando a CETYS como una Instituci\u00f3n en la b\u00fasqueda de la alta calidad educativa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Asimismo, fue reconocido como presidente de la FIMPES (Federaci\u00f3n de Instituciones Particulares de Educaci\u00f3n Superior) y habiendo sido distinguido en su momento como Eisenhower Fellow. Con el apoyo de su equipo de colaboradores, el Ing.
