Con ese prop\u00f3sito particip\u00f3 en diversas actividades en Pensilvania y Nueva York, como parte de la <\/span><b>30\u00aa Asamblea Juvenil del AFS Intercultural Program<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Durante varios d\u00edas convivi\u00f3 con cientos de j\u00f3venes universitarios provenientes de 80 pa\u00edses, para abordar el tema: <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cDesafiando la adversidad: Empoderando a los j\u00f3venes ciudadanos globales para liderar\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, y as\u00ed tomar medidas en favor de los <\/span><b>Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) de la ONU<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cParticip\u00e9 en asambleas sobre liderazgo en mujeres, salud mental en j\u00f3venes, c\u00f3mo gestionar recursos y oportunidades de empleo, entre otros. Me interesa mucho trabajar por el <\/span><b>empoderamiento juvenil y la acci\u00f3n internacional<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d, comparti\u00f3.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La alumna de la Licenciatura en Derecho en CETYS Universidad Campus Tijuana tambi\u00e9n tuvo la oportunidad de conocer la <\/span><b>Universidad de Pensilvania (UPenn)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, la <\/span><b>sede de la ONU<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> y la <\/span><b>Universidad de Nueva York (NYU)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cAdem\u00e1s de estas actividades en la sede de la ONU, destaco que obtuve un <\/span><b>reconocimiento Emphatic Prototype<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> en un hackat\u00f3n, en el que, en equipo, creamos un prototipo de m\u00e9todos para construir instituciones m\u00e1s pac\u00edficas e inclusivas. Simulamos una app enfocada en el acceso gratuito a informaci\u00f3n y herramientas, como juegos para el cuidado de la salud mental y su importancia en el desarrollo de comunidades. Lo vinculamos con la <\/span><b>neurodivergencia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, ni\u00f1os, adultos mayores y personas que no han recibido educaci\u00f3n sobre salud mental\u201d, explic\u00f3 Karla.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La experiencia de Karla refleja que cada oportunidad internacional se convierte en un espacio para que los estudiantes fortalezcan sus valores, liderazgo y capacidad de transformaci\u00f3n, con el objetivo de que las y los futuros profesionistas no solo se preparen acad\u00e9micamente, sino que tambi\u00e9n busquen ser <\/span><b>agentes de cambio que impacten positivamente en sus comunidades y en el mundo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La estudiante de Derecho en CETYS Universidad, la tijuanense Karla Ba\u00f1os, tiene claro que busca convertirse en agente de cambio juvenil.
