Esta cifra, disminuida ante el rigor del estudio estad\u00edstico, representa un cambio sustancial en la manera en la que la poblaci\u00f3n percibe su realidad. Los t\u00edtulos m\u00e1s llamativos, sin importar su verosimilitud, son los m\u00e1s compartidos. Esta es una de las inquietudes compartidas por la <strong>Mtra. Faviola Villegas Romero,<\/strong> Coordinadora de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cetys.mx\/oferta-educativa\/profesional\/licenciatura-en-administracion-de-mercadotecnia\/\">Licenciatura en Administraci\u00f3n de Mercadotecnia<\/a> en CETYS Universidad Campus Mexicali.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La democratizaci\u00f3n del proceso informativo que faculta internet es consecuencia directa de la percepci\u00f3n de los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n formalmente establecidos, por su presunto sesgo oficialista durante el M\u00e9xico institucional a trav\u00e9s de d\u00e1divas; el festivo \u201cchayote\u201d. Tal es la causa para que uno de los ganchos utilizados por las p\u00e1ginas de <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">fake news<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> sea el uso de frases que les dan una postura <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">rebelde<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> que supuestamente transmite algo que el estado pretende esconder. \u00a0En palabras de la Mtra. Villegas: <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pavlov se hace evidente en esta conducta: est\u00edmulo-respuesta en su m\u00e1ximo esplendor. Se dise\u00f1a un encabezado alarmante, se genera una sinapsis y una emoci\u00f3n placentera; queremos tener la primicia de todo y lo compartimos, esperando impactar en otro y todas estas interacciones digitales se convierten en ciclos de nunca acabar. Vivimos de est\u00edmulos, queremos llenar nuestros vac\u00edos mentales&#8230; y las <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">fake news<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> nacieron para eso.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En el pasado proceso electoral, la alta penetraci\u00f3n de las redes sociales, al grado que 35% de la poblaci\u00f3n se informa a trav\u00e9s de Facebook, fue decisiva para la difusi\u00f3n de art\u00edculos pseudoperiod\u00edsticos especialmente sesgados hacia alguno de los cuatro candidatos. Cual se comprob\u00f3 en un estudio de El Universal, la emisi\u00f3n de estos en conjunto con la compra de seguidores por parte de todas las campa\u00f1as llev\u00f3 a inflar, hasta en un 55%, los n\u00fameros virtuales de dichos pol\u00edticos de una manera aparentemente \u201corg\u00e1nica\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>El lucrativo negocio de las <\/b><b><i>fake news<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los objetivos de estas publicaciones, seg\u00fan Bas Van De Beld, autor del blog &#8220;Reason Why&#8221;, son: influir sobre una idea, mentir y conseguir dinero. A pesar de la demanda, existe una oferta relativamente restringida. \u00a0El creador de uno de los <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">laboratorios de fake news<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> existentes en M\u00e9xico (v\u00ednculo a la entrevista al pie de p\u00e1gina) y autoproclamado rey de la mendacidad virtual en M\u00e9xico es uno de los <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">millenials<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> m\u00e1s influyentes en el pa\u00eds. Pese a ser poco conocido en la escena nacional, su compa\u00f1\u00eda es capaz de crear <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">trending topics<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> a trav\u00e9s del uso de una red de <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">bots<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Al respecto, Villegas Romero profundiz\u00f3: <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Si est\u00e1 en Internet, &#8211;<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">y m\u00faltiples veces<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; es porque debe ser cierto\u00a8 siendo parte de una l\u00f3gica colectiva donde percepci\u00f3n es realidad. Adem\u00e1s, est\u00e1n quienes leen solamente los encabezados y generan una opini\u00f3n subjetiva, sin leer el contenido de la nota.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Este sujeto menciona su cuota base: doscientos mil pesos por hashtag viral. Asimismo, su negocio involucra a otras redes sociales, como Facebook, en la cual centra su desarrollo en m\u00e1s de cuarenta mil p\u00e1ginas que enfocan su operaci\u00f3n en peque\u00f1as comunidades para aumentar su verosimilitud. Antes, el riesgo de la desinformaci\u00f3n reca\u00eda en los j\u00f3venes. Hoy d\u00eda, con este nuevo acercamiento, todo p\u00fablico est\u00e1 en riesgo de difundirlas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>\u00bfQu\u00e9 dice la ley?<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En M\u00e9xico existe completa impunidad en este sentido. Desde la creaci\u00f3n de la Polic\u00eda Cibern\u00e9tica en 2013, se han realizado investigaciones respecto al origen de estas noticias falsas, sin que se haya llegado a resultados concluyentes o alguna detenci\u00f3n, esto \u00faltimo por la carencia de legislaci\u00f3n en este respecto.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Uno de los principales argumentos en contra de una legislaci\u00f3n para reducir el n\u00famero de noticias falsas ser\u00eda su caracterizaci\u00f3n como una <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ley mordaza<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. En diciembre de 2017 a la reforma al art\u00edculo 1916 del C\u00f3digo Civil Federal precisamente le fue asignado el mote anterior, a consecuencia de la difusi\u00f3n de diversas notas que lo clasificaban como tal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ejemplos han existido bastantes: la presunta \u201cprivatizaci\u00f3n\u201d del agua, o, m\u00e1s recientemente, los linchamientos de cuatro personas tras el p\u00e1nico generado por diversas cadenas de WhatsApp. Tales pr\u00e1cticas est\u00e1n prohibidas por los art\u00edculos 6\u00b0 y 7\u00b0 de la Constituci\u00f3n, mas, al carecer de una estrategia para su coerci\u00f3n, prima su incumplimiento. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Los retos<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Villegas concluy\u00f3 con el exhorto a mantener la \u00e9tica en el \u00e1mbito period\u00edstico, enfatizando la falta de validez de usar este tipo de notas, pues demerita el esfuerzo e impacto de muchas fuentes importantes de contenido \u00fatil y veraz. Desgraciadamente, la proliferaci\u00f3n de las herramientas tecnol\u00f3gicas hace v\u00e1lida m\u00e1s que nunca la l\u00f3gica goebbeliana: una\u00a0<\/span><b>mentira<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0repetida\u00a0<\/span><b>mil veces<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0se convierte en una verdad.
