{"id":109624,"date":"2018-02-20T16:43:03","date_gmt":"2018-02-21T00:43:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cetys.mx\/noticias\/?p=109624"},"modified":"2018-02-20T17:30:03","modified_gmt":"2018-02-21T01:30:03","slug":"necesario-prepararse-en-el-campo-de-la-gerontologia-social","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cetys.mx\/noticias\/necesario-prepararse-en-el-campo-de-la-gerontologia-social\/","title":{"rendered":"Necesario prepararse en el campo de la Gerontolog\u00eda Social"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Las sociedades deben prepararse de forma preventiva en el \u00e1rea de la Gerontolog\u00eda Social, para que el envejecimiento se viva con \u00e9xito y felicidad, asegur\u00f3 el <strong>Dr. Antonio S\u00e1nchez Cabaco<\/strong>, C\u00e1tedra Distinguida Pimsa-CETYS, profesor visitante de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upsa.es\/\" target=\"_blank\">Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca<\/a>, Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El experto en temas del adulto mayor, estar\u00e1 en los campus de CETYS Universidad (Mexicali, Tijuana y Ensenada) del 19 al 24 de febrero y en su agenda en la capital del estado, dio la conferencia magistral \u2018La Gerontolog\u00eda Social, una necesidad del siglo XXI\u2019, esto en el marco de las actividades para promover la nueva <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cetys.mx\/oferta-educativa\/posgrado\/maestria-en-gerontologia-social\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Maestr\u00eda en Gerontolog\u00eda<\/strong><\/a> que ofrece la instituci\u00f3n bajacaliforniana.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cetys.mx\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/DrAntonioSanchez.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-109631\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cetys.mx\/noticias\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/DrAntonioSanchez.jpg\" alt=\"gerontolog\u00eda\" width=\"1886\" height=\"1254\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u201cHa habido importantes cambios demogr\u00e1ficos en todo el mundo, por ello es importante que haya profesionales que se especialicen en el cuidado de los adultos mayores. Por ejemplo en Espa\u00f1a la esperanza de vida se increment\u00f3 y las mujeres llegan a vivir hasta 82 a\u00f1os en comparaci\u00f3n de 78 de los hombres.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En cuanto a M\u00e9xico, el tambi\u00e9n investigador, dijo que para el 2050 la sociedad mexicana tendr\u00e1 una pir\u00e1mide poblacional invertida en la que abunden las personas de la tercera edad, ya que seg\u00fan proyecciones del <strong>Consejo Nacional de Poblaci\u00f3n<\/strong> (CONAPO),\u00a0el 21.5% de la poblaci\u00f3n, unos 32.4 millones, ser\u00e1n ancianos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Para enfrentar el envejecimiento de la sociedad, agreg\u00f3 S\u00e1nchez Cabaco, se necesita atender a estas personas mediante cuidados que impliquen las dimensiones biol\u00f3gicas, psicol\u00f3gicas y sociales.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cLos programas educativos como esta Maestr\u00eda en Gerontolog\u00eda Social que comenzar\u00e1 el CETYS, busca que las generaciones j\u00f3venes tengan oportunidad de interactuar y conocer a las personas mayores.
