Dr. Fernando Leon Garcia was one of the distinguished speakers\u00a0in \u00a0the first edition of the of Times Higher Education (THE)<\/a>\u00a0Latin America Universities Summit.<\/strong> THE has been\u00a0a global authority on higher education and research\u00a0for more than 40 years.<\/p>\n

The summit\u00a0addressed issues such as sustainable expansion: transitioning from an elite to a mass system; data-informed decision making: achieving accountability and excellence in teaching and research; and internationalization in the Latin American context.<\/p>\n
