This annual university gathering is the flagship of CETYS University System\u2019s internationalization efforts. Usually carried out at the Ensenada Campus, the 2021 edition will be a virtual experience due to COVID 19 related restrictions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From July 12th to 30th, around 300 students from India, Georgia, Armenia, Peru, Czech Republic, Colombia, Argentina, Spain, United Kingdom, Austria, Chile, Poland, and Mexico will connect daily from the safety of their homes. For three weeks, students will share a virtual classroom where they will discuss different approaches and ways of solving a particular topic, which will allow them to acquire a global vision and perspective.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As in previous editions, classes will be taught by highly qualified professors from different countries. The language of instruction is English and, for the second year in a virtual modality, explained Dr. Diana Woolfolk-Ruiz, Deputy Director of International Relations of the CETYS University System.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participating professors in the ISP 2021 come from the following countries: the United States, the Netherlands, Malaysia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Italy, India, Greece, Colombia, and the United Arab Emirates.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00ab10 courses will be taught simultaneously, in addition to other learning activities designed by the faculty to strengthen students integration as well as teamwork efforts using collaborative and cooperative activities\u00bb, explained Woolfolk-Ruiz.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She also highlighted that this is the edition with the most students in the history of the ISP. With a total of 300 students from 19 participating countries.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThis edition of the ISP met and exceeded the objectives. We have received a higher number of foreign exchange students\u2019 applications than expected, which doubles our goal. That is a testament to the quality of the program, its position among partner universities, and CETYS\u2019 clear commitment towards internationalization.\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The ISP launched in 2013 intending to enrich the professional training of students through internationalization.
