The integration of Higher Education to an international environment is attained by CETYS Graduate School of Business<\/a> through the first generation of students from an MBA program with a Triple Degree<\/strong>. As a result of a collaboration agreement among Providence University in Taiwan<\/a>, University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria<\/a>, and CETYS University in Mexico<\/strong>, students will obtain 3 postgraduate degrees upon completion of the program, one from each University.<\/span><\/p>\n

13 students from 6 different countries have completed one trimester at CETYS Ensenada International Campus<\/a> and another at Providence University in Taiwan. These experiences introduced students to a global perspective on educational training and allowed them to embrace and appreciate cultural differences. The third trimester will be held in Austria, starting in October 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMy motivation to enroll in this triple degree MBA was to acquire knowledge with diverse perspectives on topics such as marketing, business, commercial policies and to acquire such knowledge on an alternative teaching environment dissimilar to the western one. I think that the combination of those elements, as well as the cultural experience resulting from the total immersion during the three-month residence in each country, provides an excellent opportunity for growth whether in the academic, professional or personal areas\u201d, said student Melissa de la Fuente.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Melissa also commented that her residency in Taiwan gave her the knowledge for business development: \u201cDuring my first trimester in Taiwan, I learned about different perspectives for doing business and the needs of a different market. I think that professionally, whether being part of a company or owning your own business, the knowledge acquired by living in another country will always be a turning point, paving the way to more opportunities\u201d.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Dr. M\u00f3nica L\u00f3pez Sieben,<\/strong> CETYS Graduate School of Business<\/a> Dean, said that the Triple Degree MBA is a high-value academic offer that goes beyond internationalization, through a multicultural immersion with residencies in three continents. The Master\u2019s degree has a focus on Global Marketing, with international professors and classmates from different nationalities, obtaining three Master’s degrees recognized in three continents in the space of two years.<\/span><\/p>\n

In this first generation, we have 13 students from across the globe: Mexico, Indonesia, Belgium, Egypt, Germany, and Austria.<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Providence University in Taiwan is recognized by the Ministry of Education of China as a university of excellence in teaching; University of Applied Science Upper Austria has multiple international degree programs, students from more than 60 countries, and ongoing cooperation with the industry. Likewise, CETYS University is recognized for its many international accreditations, including those from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)<\/strong> and the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP<\/strong>), as well as for its strong links with business and industry.<\/span><\/p>\n
