As a result of these efforts, our School of Business is the first institution in Mexico\u2019s Northwest to receive international accreditation from the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.acbsp.org\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/carlosglz\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dr. Carlos A. Gonzalez<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Dean of Institutional Effectiveness and Accreditation, represented CETYS at the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/acbspconference.org\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ACBSP 2019 Annual Conference<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that took place in Houston, Texas from June 21-24. During his <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/acbspconference.org\/session\/integrated-assessment-and-program-review-process-for-regional-and-professional-accreditors\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">presentation<\/span><\/a> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIntegrated assessment and program review: A process for regional and professional accreditors \u2013 CETYS University experience\u201d,<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Dr. Gonzalez had the opportunity to share best practices and lessons learned from CETYS\u2019 endeavors on bi-national accreditations from Mexico and the U.S., while facing multiple challenges as avoiding faculty overburdening when, inevitably, timelines combine and accreditors request information at the same time and in multiple languages, among others.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe ACBSP Conference is the premier event for Business Schools to come together to share and learn about best practices, innovations and upcoming trends of excellence in education.
