In a key binational region for the world, such as Cali-Baja, academic skills and knowledge of a second language are essential for professional development in the workplace on both sides of the border.<\/span><\/p>\n

A growing number of students are now travelling south, seeking to pursue their degree at an internationally accredited institution; 10% of <\/span>CETYS<\/span><\/a>\u2019 undergraduate population is from Southern California.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a result, since mid-2017 CETYS University has developed degrees taught 100% in English.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the Tijuana Campus, the <\/span>Bachelor of International Business Global Program<\/span><\/a> allows students to develop business plans for companies with international trade operations, as well as formulate strategies and develop negotiations in multicultural business contexts, responding to the needs of a region with economic activity not only for the U.S., but with countries such as Japan, Korea and China, to name a few.<\/span><\/p>\n

Distinctive elements of CETYS\u2019 Global Program, are experiences with transnational companies offered through internships and community service; international certification courses in several parts of the world; and International Faculty who nurture a global vision in the classroom.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of these academics is Dr. Marja Liisa Tenhunen, Former President and Managing Director from Centria University of Applied Sciences, who traveled from Finland to Baja California to teach the first edition of the International Business Seminar to students enrolled in the Global Program.<\/span><\/p>\n

CETYS University will soon also offer the <\/span>Bachelor in Industrial Engineering Global Program <\/span><\/a>which will bring better opportunities for the students in the Cali-Baja region to acquire better skills and knowledge in this field. <\/span><\/p>\n
