More than 50 CETYS Universidad students<\/b> from the three campuses were part of the Graduation Ceremony of the CETYS and City University of Seattle (City U) Double Degree Program, in Washington, Seattle.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the 42nd<\/sup>\u00a0City U Graduation Ceremony at the Seattle Center Key Arena, 53 undergraduates received their Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Business Administration, Management and Applied Psychology from City University\u2019s President, Dr. Randy C. Frisch and Dr. Alberto G\u00e1rate, CETYS Provost.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis marks one step further in CETYS\u2019 internationalization initiatives, and what we can do to offer our students a global vision\u201d, said Dr. Alberto G\u00e1rate.<\/p>\n

Three CETYS collaborators also received their Doctoral Degree in Education and Leadership during this ceremony<\/b>: Dr. Carlos H. Garc\u00eda, Director of Institutional Affairs, Dr. Eduardo D\u00edaz, Coordinator of International Affairs in Campus Tijuana, and Dra. Laura Carrillo, Institutional Advisor.<\/p>\n

The total number of students graduated from the\u00a0Double Degree Program<\/a>\u00a0in 2017 amounted to more than 100, of which\u00a045 are from Mexicali, 57 from Tijuana and 4 from Ensenada<\/b>.\u00a0 They received their Diploma in graduation ceremonies held in Baja California, and attended by Dr. Kurt Kirstein, representing City U.<\/p>\n

The Double Degree program allows students to obtain a university degree in Mexico as well as the United States. The binational program has been active for 12 years, with nearly 500 students as alumni.<\/p>\n
