CETYS University’s 2023 International Summer Program (ISP) has drawn to a close, marking the end of an enriching journey for 290 students and 16 professors representing 25 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following two weeks brimming with academic exploration, cultural immersion, social interaction, and entertainment, participants from across the globe successfully wrapped up their engagement in the ISP on July 28th. This transformative experience unfolded at CETYS University’s International Campus in Ensenada, skillfully conducted both in-person and virtually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Originating from a diverse array of countries, including Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Colombia, the United Arab Emirates, Slovakia, Spain, the United States, Greece, India, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Malaysia, Morocco, Mexico, the Netherlands, Peru, Poland, Portugal, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, and Uruguay, these attendees contributed a tapestry of perspectives and knowledge to the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The official closing ceremony gathered faculty members from the International Campus in Ensenada and the CETYS University System. Dr. Luc\u00eda Beltr\u00e1n, Academic Director of the Ensenada Campus, emphasized the significance of the event’s successful execution since its inception in 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n

\u00abCongratulations to university and high school students for embracing the 2023 ISP as a path of exploration beyond their comfort zones. Gratitude also extends to professors and all contributors who seamlessly blended in-person and virtual elements. I trust that all participants found the experience enriching,\u00bb commented Dr. Luc\u00eda Beltr\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

It’s important to state that CETYS University is one of the five institutions nationwide offering globally recognized programs, with contributions from professors spanning continents. The ISP empowers participants to address challenges from diverse perspectives, expand their networks, and seize growth and development opportunities beyond borders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Professor Monika Hebrakova from the Czech Technical University, instructor of the International Negotiation Strategies course during the ISP, this experience held profound meaning. She highlighted how it transcended the traditional realms of teaching and learning, evolving into a remarkable cultural experience that fostered lasting connections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Katerina Prosecka, a student from Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom, expressed sincere gratitude to the mentors and educators of the ISP. She acknowledged their role in deepening her understanding of various subjects and creating a welcoming environment throughout the program. She conveyed, \u00abOur shared experiences during classes and company visits have undoubtedly left a positive impact. I extend my gratitude to my local student peers for welcoming us and sharing Mexico’s vibrant culture\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n

For Dulce Amaya from the Mexicali Campus, the knowledge and experiences gained during the ISP have expanded her horizons far beyond the familiar terrain. \u00abThe ISP has been a profoundly enriching adventure in many aspects. I wholeheartedly recommend it and am deeply thankful for the opportunity.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sebasti\u00e1n Rodr\u00edguez-Corral, a student from the Tijuana Campus, enjoyed the comprehensive ISP experience, encompassing both academic rigor and engaging extracurricular activities. He enthusiastically remarked, \u00abMeticulously planned activities facilitated interactions with peers from the UK, Peru, and other CETYS campuses. That has undoubtedly been one of my most cherished experiences.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adri\u00e1n Villase\u00f1or, a student from the Ensenada Campus, chose to participate in the ISP to broaden his cultural perspective. He shared, \u00bb Through this program, we had the privilege of visiting various companies, providing us with firsthand insights into the practical application of classroom learning. The ISP has expanded my perspective, revealing the wonders of diverse contexts.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c1ngel Paolo Garc\u00eda-Trillo, a high school student from the Tijuana Campus, highlighted that his decision to partake in the ISP stemmed from its perfect blend of knowledge, learning, and experience that significantly enriched his life. He reflected, \u00abI enjoyed the course I participated in, led by a Colombian professor who guided us in exploring creativity. Collaborations with university peers from around the world added unparalleled enrichment.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The closing ceremony saw the participation of Dr. Guadalupe S\u00e1nchez, Director of the School of Business Administration at the CETYS University System; Dr. Scott Venezia, Director of International Relations at the CETYS University System; Dr. Diana Woolfolk, Deputy Director of International Relations at the CETYS University System; Dr. Luc\u00eda Beltr\u00e1n, Academic Director of the Ensenada Campus; and Dr. Francisco V\u00e9lez, Director of the CETYS International Campus in Ensenada, who presided over the ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n
