About the Conference

In a rapidly changing world, two of the key priorities international higher education leaders must focus on, are innovation and inclusion. Incorporating technology and the change in paradigms, both are inextricably linked to ethical realities and dilemmas.

Join your fellow university presidents for three days at IAUP Triennial 2020 where we will share, debate and discuss these relevant changes faced by universities worldwide, along with best practices and global networking opportunities.

¡Bienvenidos a México! / Welcome to Mexico!

On behalf of the International Association of University Presidents (IAUP), we invite you to join us at the XIX IAUP Triennial Conference: Innovation and Inclusion: Key Priorities for Universities in a Complex World, to be held at Palacio de Minería from July 29 to August 1, 2020 in Mexico City.

About Mexico City

Venue

Palacio de Minería and Hilton Hotel Reforma

Palacio de Minería.

Our venue for the triennial 2020 is one of the masterpieces of Neoclassical architecture in the Americas. It was designed and built between 1797 and 1813 by Valencian Spanish sculptor and architect Manuel Tolsá, to house the Royal Seminar of Mines.  Later, it housed other institutions such as the National University, the School of Engineering, College of Mining, and the Physics Institute of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Today it is a museum that belongs to the Faculty of Engineering of UNAM.

The building is located on the emblematic Tacuba Street, opposite the Plaza Manuel Tolsá and the equestrian statue (Carlos IV of Spain).
