In a rapidly changing world, two of the key priorities international higher education leaders must focus on, are innovation and inclusion. Incorporating technology and the change in paradigms, both are inextricably linked to ethical realities and dilemmas.
Join your fellow university presidents for three days at IAUP Triennial 2020 where we will share, debate and discuss these relevant changes faced by universities worldwide, along with best practices and global networking opportunities.

On behalf of the International Association of University Presidents (IAUP), we invite you to join us at the XIX IAUP Triennial Conference: Innovation and Inclusion: Key Priorities for Universities in a Complex World, to be held at Palacio de Minería from July 29 to August 1, 2020 in Mexico City.
For three days, senior leadership will share, debate and discuss current trends and future challenges faced by universities worldwide regarding these key priorities.
Drawing from the experience of the extensive IAUP network and senior leaders of distinguished higher education organizations from around the world, we have designed a program that includes concepts, trends, ideas, and best practices conducive to a comprehensive global learning experience.
Palacio de Minería and Mexico City will also provide ample opportunities for networking, individual activities, and interaction with our experienced speakers.

Call for Proposals
In the past few decades, higher education has experienced vast transformations. New paradigms in social, cultural, and economic contexts have brought forth numerous trends and challenges faced by higher education leaders nowadays. With the aim of educating the next generation of citizens, Universities, now have to be prepared to produce era-appropriate knowledge as they advance on numerous fronts and academic fields. This is the context upon which the event seeks to foster academic exchanges and discussions, in the topics of innovation, inclusion and equality.

- Topic and subtopic.
- Short abstract. Word limit 70.
- Proposal description. Word limit 250.
- Target Audience (i.e. presidents, deans, academics, researchers, etc.)
- Presenter's Bio. Word Limit 80.
- Language of Submission: English or Spanish (please note abstracts must also be sent in English).

Our venue for the triennial 2020 is one of the masterpieces of Neoclassical architecture in the Americas. It was designed and built between 1797 and 1813 by Valencian Spanish sculptor and architect Manuel Tolsá, to house the Royal Seminar of Mines. Later, it housed other institutions such as the National University, the School of Engineering, College of Mining, and the Physics Institute of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Today it is a museum that belongs to the Faculty of Engineering of UNAM.
