Admission Process/ Credit and Course Equivalence / U.S. Students/

CETYS University provides assistance and orientation for course equivalency and credit for classes credited at an foreign institution, via the course equivalence and credit process.
NOTE: You will be given a grace period to turn in the required documents after the first enrollment, as long as you can prove that the process to obtain such documents is under way. The proposal or technical opinion issued by the Institution is subject to ratification or modification by the educational authorities of the Secretariat of Education. The resolution issued by the Secretariat is final and unappealable.
From High School
Requirements (original and two copies):
- Birth certificate. If you were not born in Mexico, your birth certificate must include an apostille and be translated to Spanish by an expert witness translator. You must also attach an immigration form that proves your status as a legal student in the country.
- CURP
- Certificate or Official Transcript certifying the completion of grade 9. This must include seal of the institution and signature. If you finished High School, the Diploma will suffice.
- Spanish translation of Transcript and Diploma (if applicable).
- Payment of $915.00 pesos* at the Department of Student Services.

From College or University
Requirements (original and two copies):
- Birth certificate. If you were not born in Mexico, your birth certificate must include an apostille and be translated to Spanish by an expert witness translator. You must also attach an immigration form that proves your status as a legal student in the country.
- CURP
- Official Transcript (sealed and signed by the school indicating degrees finished)
- Spanish translation of the Official Transcript.
- Syllabus of each course taken and accredited as shown in the Official Transcript. The syllabi or course descriptions must be obtained from the official catalog of the corresponding University or College, and a translation to Spanish must be included (it can be done by the student).
- Payment of $5,265.00 pesos* at the Department of Student Services.
