CREDIT AND COURSE EQUIVALENCE –
If you have studies, or credit from other institutions whether national or international and wish to continue your studies at CETYS, you may earn credit via the following process for course equivalency, equivalency or credit.
Admission Process/ Credit and Course Equivalence /Adult Undergraduate Programs
Credit Transfer
For students of programs within the National Education System. Up to 50% of the credits of the curriculum can be transferred to CETYS (18 courses).
Requirements (original and two copies):
- Mexican birth certificate
- CURP
- Transcript (list of accredited courses, including final grade)
- Description of the courses submitted for transfer
- Partial certificate of the school of origin
- Payment of $5,265.00 pesos* (five thousand, two hundred and sixty-five pesos 00/100) at the Department of Student Services.

Credit Transfer for students of international programs
This process is for students who started an undergraduate program at a foreign university (in the United States or other countries), and wish to continue studying at CETYS.
In the case of programs for countries other than the United States, the process could vary.
Requirements (original and two copies):
- Birth certificate. If you were not born in Mexico, your birth certificate must include an apostille and be translated to Spanish by an expert witness translator. You must also attach an immigration form that proves your status as a legal student in the country.
- CURP
- Official Transcript and High School Diploma (sealed and signed by the school) .
- Spanish translations of the Official Transcript and Diploma.
If you took College or University courses:
- Official Transcript (sealed and signed by the corresponding institution).
- Spanish translation of the Official Transcript.
- Syllabus of each course taken and accredited as shown in the Official Transcript. The syllabi or course descriptions must be downloaded from the official catalog of the corresponding University or College, and a translation to Spanish must be included (it can be done by the student).
- Pay corresponding fee at the Department of Student Services. The cost of this process is $915.00 pesos* (nine hundred and nineteen pesos 00/100) for High School and $5,265.00 pesos* (five thousand, two hundred and sixty five pesos 00/100) for Undergraduate.

Credit Transfer within CETYS
For students who began an undergraduate program at CETYS but did not finish it, or are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and would like to transfer to a Adult Undergraduate Program.
Requirements:
- Transcript (list of accredited courses with final grades).
- Make a payment of $870 pesos*
- Interview with the program coordinator

Back to School CETYS
If you are a CETYS University alumnus from any of the three campuses and were not able to finish your undergraduate program, right now is the moment! You can transfer ALL your accredited courses that correspond to the Adult Undergraduate Program for a fee of $5,265 pesos *
