Apply Online

Click HERE to apply online. Our advisors will contact you shortly after you fill out the application in order to schedule an appointment.

Take the admission test

Upon pre-enrollment, you will be asked to choose a date to take the institutional admission test. Once you pay the fee, which will be deducted from your enrollment payment later, a Student ID number will be generated and you will be able to take the preparation course.

Please be on time and bring a photo ID, a No. 2 pencil and an eraser.

Meet with the Program Coordinator

Once you pass the test, your advisor will set up an appointment with the Program Coordinator, so that you can discuss details of the next stage.

Request Financial Aid

Your advisor can explain everything about the different types of Financial Aid and Scholarships available, including all the application requirements.

Enroll

Please bring the following documents on your designated dates (send to you via e-mail or informed by your advisor):

  • Admission Test Score Letter issued by CETYS University
  • Birth certificate (original and two copies)
    If you are a U.S. citizen or resident, bring a copy of your birth certificate (as well as its apostille and corresponding translation and certification), along with the documents that certify your legal residency in Mexico as a student. All documents must be certified by the corresponding Mexican authorities. For more information regarding these documents, please contact Edgar Flores at edgar.flores@cetys.mx  for Campus Tijuana and Ana Marin at ana.marin@cetys.mx  for Campus Mexicali.
  • Original and one copy of the Revalidation of Studies Decision
  • Copy of CURP (for more information regarding this document, please ask your CETYS advisor)
  • Proof of address (copy)
  • 6 black and white passport photos printed in matte paper (not instant). Photos must be formal (no smiling, no glasses, natural makeup, no fringe or anything that covers the forehead). For women: white button down shirt and black blazer; men: white button down shirt, tie and black jacket)
  • If you have pre-enrolled, please bring proof of payment
  • GNP form (it will be provided by your advisor)

The Unidos Scholarship is the result of an institutional effort that aims to support young talent affected by the health crisis derived from COVID-19, generating opportunities for assuring continuity in high-quality, professional education programs.

This Scholarship is offered at the three CETYS University campuses: Mexicali, Tijuana, and Ensenada. It is directed at incoming students entering any undergraduate program, noted for their intellectual skills and solid high school academic background.

Available in all 3 of our campuses.

Application requirements:

New Entry to Engineering School

  • Hold an overall average of 8.5 +
  • Complete an application and submit required documents
  • Answer a socioeconomic survey
  • No entrance examination required (during COVID 19 contingency.)

New Entry to Law School, Psychology, Business and Administration

  • Hold an overall average of 9.0 +
  • Complete an application and submit required documents
  • Answer a socioeconomic survey
  • No entrance examination required (during COVID 19 contingency.)

Academic Scholarships

SoCal Scholarship

A want to study an Undergraduate Program in CETYS Universidad – Tijuana campus. Have a GPA equal or above 2.8 (8.5 in Mexico) in 10th, 11th and 12th grade (submit official
transcript)

The scholarship is of 80%, and it is destined for high schools students that are graduating in 2022 within the Southern California area. The scholarship can be combined with other Financial Aid options offered by CETYS Universidad, with due process, having in consideration that the maximum percentage of application is of 90% .

Available in Tijuana.

Comprehensive Financial Aid Plan

This plan combines 10% CETYS Credit and anywhere from 25% to 80% Academic Scholarship for students with an overall GPA of 8.5 (minimum) in High School and a score of 1,120 or more in the admission test. Socio-economic evaluation is required.

Available at all campuses.

 

Comprehensive Financial Aid plan for Engineering Programs

For students of all Engineering Programs who stand out for their intellectual abilities and academic trajectory in High School.

This plan combines 10% CETYS Credit and up to 40% scholarship for students with an overall GPA of 8.5 (minimum) in High School and a score of 1,250 or more in the admission test.

Available at all campuses.

PAFENI Scholarship

Available only at the Ensenada Campus. This scholarship was created with the purpose of helping students who want to study at CETYS.

Students must have an overall GPA of 8.5 and no failed courses in High School. They must also pass the admission exam.

Athletic Scholarships

Athletic Scholarships are for academically outstanding students who are also excellent athletes. They range from 10% to 80%.

Physical and technical examinations are required in order to apply for and receive this scholarship.

Tuition Discounts for CETYS Alumni

If you or your parents graduated from any of our programs at any level or campus, you can get 10% off your tuition.

Sibling discount

For families with 2 or more children enrolled at CETYS, as long as the discount does not surpass 50% for 2 siblings or 75% for 3 siblings.

Interested students must submit an application and undergo a socio-economic study.

CETYS Credit

Available for undergraduate students (up to 10% for engineering programs and up to 12% for all other undergraduate programs).

Financial aid is subject to regulations.
