CETYS inaugurated the Ensenada Gymnasium-Auditorium after a year of planning, work, effort and investment.

All the infrastructure of CETYS has been achieved thanks to philanthropy; in this case, with an investment of 2.5 million dollars, the gymnasium-auditorium will be used in cultural, social, musical, academic and sports events, among others, both by the students and the community in general.

The ceremony of the inauguration was presided over by President Fernando Leon García; Jessica Ibarra Ramonet, Coast Zone Director, Martin Torres Prieto, Associate of the Instituto Educativo del Noroeste, and Netzahualcóyotl Rafael Pérez Román, Coordinator of the Construction Committee of the Auditorium Gymnasium, and the Mayor, Marco Antonio Novelo Osuna.

«This International campus continues to be developed with facilities that allow students to have a comprehensive education. The Gymnasium-Auditorium  has been a product of the efforts of the IENAC Associates, the community of Ensenada and government agencies, which have been invested in this project that will have a very positive impact in the region, said President León García.

Juan Ignacio Guajardo, President of IENAC, said that the next objectives are to have dormitories inside the gymnasium and build a field for the practice of American football and soccer.

«CETYS Universidad has been in every way a state-of-the-art institution where sport has always been a priority and must be to form individuals with civic, academic, cultural, social and sporting bases,» concluded Guajardo.
